"The Florida Panthers are drawing closer to being sold.
The organization will be sold to a New York-based publicly held company, called Sport Properties Acquisitions Corp. There are no plans to move the team though and they will continue to play at BankAtlantic Center in Sunrise. However, the deal is still a few months away from being completed."
Wow, there are potential markets out there, especially in Canada screaming to get a hockey team (See Winnipeg, Hamilton), I hope this isn't the beginning of the end for the Cats in Florida.
Everything looked so optimistic, just barely missing the postseason, now here we are months later back in hockey hell again. New GM, new owner..
